Unpack the S-W-PT Grandtec PAN/TILT Wi-Fi Camera

Setup the connections to the camera

1. Place the camera on the desk
2. Check the switch on the side of the camera is set to RJ45
3. Plug a network cable from your network into the RJ45 socket
4. Connect the power supply
5. Check that the green light illuminates on the front of the camera

Insert the supplied CD - PAN TILT V1.0 - Model 1  Follow the instructions in this post:- Install IP Auto Detect Tool

Launch the IPCam Setup application and configure the network settings of the camera

1. Choose the adapter connected to the same network the camera is connected to
2. Click Find IP Cam and hopefully a MAC address and other information should appear in the IP Cam List
3. Setting the camera with the following settings:-
   Wireless
   Manual
   IP Address: 192.168.0.101
   Net Mask: 255.255.255.0
   Gateway: 192.168.0.1
   Camera Name: IPCam-02
4. Click Setting
5. Click OK
6. Click Scan Access Point
7. This will search for all local wireless networks
8. Choose your Wireless network from the list and choose the correct settings (these settings will differ depending on your network configuration)
   SSID: Wireless
   Wireless opmode: Infrastructure
   Encryption Type: WEP (10 HEX)
   KEY: ******************
9. Click Submit
10. Click OK
11. Change the switch on the side of the camera to WLAN
12. Press RESET on the camera
13. Wait for the green light
14. Click Show IP Cam

If all went well, Internet Explorer will launch and you will be presented with a login box, the default username and password is:

1. Username: root
2. Password: admin
3. Click your chosen language
4. You will now see a streaming video picture

Remove the RJ45 cable from the camera and check that the video is still streaming.

Congratulations, your camera is now ready for permanent installation.
